The Congrégation de Notre-Dame is one of
Eight Religious Communities to Receive the
2015 Builders Award
On September 28, 2015, Sisters Josephine Badali and Françoise Boisvert will receive the 2015 Builders Award during a ceremony held by l’Association des Collèges privés du Québec (ACPQ). Created a few years ago in honour of the first builders of the subsidized private college system, this distinction is intended for the men and women who have had a significant influence on the development and quality of the private college network.
The Association finds inspiration in the fundamental values transmitted by these builders, values such as honesty, a sense of responsibility and social commitment. This year the award is being given to eight religious communities who founded member colleges. Among these communities are the Congrégation de Notre-Dame (Collège Marianopolis), the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, the Sisters of Saint Anne, and the Sulpicians. The event will take place at the annual general meeting of ACPQ at Collège Laflèche.
